Our modern culture absolutely loves excitement. We chase the temporary high, the loud cheers, and the sudden emotional rush.
But the truth is, excitement usually starts on Sunday mornings and wears off by Tuesday night. What you actually need to survive the rest of your week is true, spiritual encouragement.
The difference between a spark and fuel:
Excitement gives you a momentary spark, but encouragement gives you the structural strength to keep standing. It is the fuel that reminds you who you are when the room gets quiet and the journey gets tough. Every single one of us needs it to survive the storms of life.
Your Midweek Assignment
Here is your assignment today: go find someone in your path and encourage them. Pour into their spirit, and watch how God causes that exact same encouragement to come rushing right back to you.
Be a blessing to someone else, and watch your own cup overflow.
